Estimates, not professional advice
Our calculators give general estimates based on published sizing charts and common rules of thumb. They are not an engineering design, a Manual J load calculation or advice from a licensed HVAC contractor. Actual requirements depend on your building, local climate, equipment and codes. Confirm sizing with a qualified professional before buying or installing equipment, especially for whole-house systems, gas appliances and electrical work.
